I am 29 years old and a mother of two wonderful daughters. I graduated from the University of Washington in 1999 and I currently reside in the beautiful Washington State with my husband, two girls and a maltese puppy named Lady.

 

 

 

 

I started painting children's art in college, just for fun. I was a Sunday School and AWANA teacher, and for gifts to the childrens parents that I became friends with, I'd give paintings that had some sort of resemblence or personalization to them. As the demand from my friends and family grew for my paintings I decided to open it up to the public, which has kept me very busy for about 5 years now.

 

After having children of my own, I noticed that there wasn't art out there that I could find that resembled my children's looks. My girls are bi-racial and finding art that resembled their hairstyles and skin tone was just non-existant. I expanded my paintings to include replica of all nationalities and races which has really been very popular for parents and children from all ethnic backgrounds.
